Discovery of the mysteries of the desert

Day 1: M’Hamid – Oued Naam

Departure from the desert gate (M'hamid) for the desert vastness on camels (10 kms). Lunch in the shade of the trees.

This walk is an opportunity to experience the life of nomads, it will give you unique sensations that you will not feel anywhere else.

You will discover the customs and traditions of the inhabitants of the sand desert.

In the afternoon, continuation to the Oued Naam, a dry river and a meeting place for all nomadic tribes: a source of life. Dinner and night in the Bivouac or under the stars.

Day 2: Oued Naam - Lotide

In the morning, departure for the crossing of the desert to discover its wonders. Lunch stop in the middle of the desert, then take the mounts for 3 hours and join the camp at Lotide. Dinner and night under the stars.

Day 3: Lotide - Chegaga

After sunrise and breakfast, departure on camels (10 kms). Lunch in the shade of the trees.

After 15 kms, arrival at the dunes of Erg Chegaga which extend over 40 kms.

After settling in your tents, you will witness the unique and picturesque sunset behind the dunes, before dining in a tent around the campfire. Feel the calm, beauty and harmony of the sand dunes.

Day 4: Chegaga – M’Hamid

Wake up early in the morning to admire the unique spectacle of sunrise in the desert.

Breakfast and return to M'hamid.

Arrival around 10:30 am.
