Departure from Marrakech around 09:30 am towards the village of Imlil, which is near the Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. The village of Imlil is the starting point for treks to the summit of Toubkal. On Saturdays you can visit the Berber market of Asni. Imlil is a pleasant destination to cool off from the heat of Marrakech and its dusty and lively streets. In October, the whole valley smells of apples and a clear, sunny sky dominates, trekking is a particularly pleasant way to spend a day. The snow and cold from December to February make this destination less attractive, but the rest of the year it is a treat and a retreat. When you arrive in the village, you will meet your mountain guide who will take you for a walk that will last between 3 and 5 hours depending on your physical condition and if you wish to make a long day of walking and hiking. Lunch will be provided in a berber family’s house. Continue your day trip along the beautiful valleys and Berber villages. At the end of the afternoon, you return to Marrakech around 5 pm.
